CST – Craniosacral Therapy

Webster Technique

The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that reduces nervous system stress, balances pelvic bones, muscles and ligaments and optimizes the mother’s pelvic function in pregnancy and birth.

  • Intrauterine Restraint
  • Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction
  • Sciatica
  • Low back pain

Therapeutic Ultrasound

Therapeutic Ultrasound is used in recovery of muscle and tissue injuries. It is a deep heat therapy modality that helps in healing muscle, tendon, ligament, and joint tissues.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)

Electrical Muscle Stimulation helps to reduce musculoskeletal discomfort by fatiguing the muscles and helping them to relax. This relaxation process allows for retraining of the muscle patterns and reducing overall strain on the muscle tissue long term.

RockTape Application

RockTape is a stretchy tape that when applied correctly gently lifts the skin to create additional space between the skin and fascia layers to allow for lymphatic drainage and increase in blood flow to muscles. It can be used to reduce muscle fatigue in athletes, as well as expecting mothers. For pediatric patients, we may use it in a slightly different way to assist in engaging muscle groups that enhance physical development and support reaching milestones.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is a technique used to reduce muscle tension and restore proper joint function. The goal of this technique is to break up inelastic or fibrous muscle tissue (called ‘myofascial adhesions’) such as scar tissue from acute or chronic injury to surrounding tissues and allowing for healing by relaxing muscle tension.

Cupping

Cupping is an ancient healing tool that can be used to overcome stagnant muscle tissue to allow for healing through additional blood flow through the muscle to the skin.

Supplement and Nutritional Guidance

Nutritional supplements are an important part of strengthening our bodies to overcome environmental hazards. When used correctly, and in the right combination specific to each individual patient, they can help to increase a person’s immune response as well as balance any mineral deficiencies that a person may be experiencing.
